The first stage starts from the Castle of Valentino and crosses the centre of Turin, the creative UNESCO city with its architecture that is part of the Royal Residences UNESCO heritage site, and then passes along the banks of the river Po, through the Valentino park, with splendid views of the hillside, a UNESCO MAB Collina-Po reserve. In particular, you cross Via dei Mille, Piazza Valdo Fusi, Piazza Carlo Alberto, the courtyard of Palazzo Carignano and then arrive at the Piazza Castello complex (Torre Littoria, Palazzo Madama, San Lorenzo) and the Royal Palace.

Passing through the Porte Palatine (Palatine Gates), the market and the Porta Palazzo district, the former Arsenal complex (Holden school, SERMIG, Cortile del Maglio), the stage allows you to see a piece of Piedmontese history, passing through the area of the former Durio tanneries, now transformed into the Calvino library, the area of the former FIAT Ferriere, Teksid, Michelin and other industrial plants that are now disused and transformed into the large post-industrial park of Dora.

Another of the great attractions on the stage is the Royal Palace of Venaria, followed by the Mandria Park and Borgo Castello. To reach the end of the first stage, you can visit numerous churches and other attractions, such as the Romanesque church of San Martino, the area of the former Remmert factory, the Cathedral, and the arcades of Via Vittorio in the Ciriè area.
