Short stage, which presents a few difficulties in the passage to the Vallè Pass. From the Vallè refuge (2175 m), you climb initially between mountainous rocks and pastures and then over rocky terrain up to the Vallè pass. You then cross the pass, paying attention to a few passages and with the help of fixed ropes. You cross the northern slope of the Montevecchio peak on the side of the Quarazza valley (VCO) to the Bottigia pass (2607 m) that takes back to Valsesia. From the pass, descend crossing areas similar to that of the climb, until you reach the Massero refuge (2082 m) from which, if desired, it is possible to go down to Carcoforo.
