Highlights and tour details

From Rifugio Oberto you descend towards Macugnaga heading south along a winding path that sometimes crosses the winter ski slopes. You continue to descend decisively until you come to a fork in the path B36 at an altitude of about 1950 m, which you leave to the left. From here you reach Alpe Bill (1703 m) and continue the descent into a larch wood with the path that becomes an easy mule track. Once you reach the village, follow the road of the Chiesa Vecchia (Old Church) passing by the cemetery, in front of which there is a centenarian linden tree, until you reach the centre of the village.
