The stage starts from the hamlet of Chiodrero at the Tourist Office of Valgioie (860 m). Continue towards Tortorello along a short section on paved road to continue on the dirt road. After a few hairpin bends, you reach Bagagera. Follow the mule track to Prese delle Rose. Continue along a comfortable trail as far as Piano Aschiero (Bosco Ugo Campagna); from there, go past Colle Remondetto and reach Prese Brunet. You go past some hamlets halfway up the slope (including Prese Mura, Dogheria and Sisi) reaching the plateau where Palè is located. From here, climb towards the fountain of the Acero and on a comfortable trail halfway up the slope you reach the Coazze Refuge, in Ciargiur, passing Roc du Jermu.
