The itinerary goes through significant places of the cultural heritage and landscape of the Piedmontese mountains; there are interesting votive shrines, ancient hamlets characterised by the traditional building type with a prevalence of dry stone with frame, wooden balconies and stone slate roofing along the route. The itinerary is located in the territory of the Ecomuseum of Alta Val Sangone and the Ecomuseum of the Resistance of Coazze. The places along the route are of considerable historical importance for the events that took place during the Partisan Resistance. In the locality of Forno di Coazze, there are two places of remembrance: a Partisan ossuary and a monument in memory of a massacre in a mass grave.
