Variant of Stage 6 of the Bar To Bar, the route is a small detour towards Novello, which gives us the panorama of the Alps in the distance.
From provincial road 163, we climb along the municipal road for Novello, from where, through the vineyards of the Ravera, using a detour, we can reach the village and its enviable 360° view (the saying “soma sempre an mira ‘d Novel”, translated into Italian “we are always in view of Novello”, means that no matter how much road we travel at the end we will never be really far away, because you can still see Novello!). In Novello, the remains of the monastery of the Podio and of the Church of San Rocco tell of a glorious past, renewed by the splendour of the neo-Gothic castle, fruit of the visionary architecture of Schellino, the Gaudì from Dogliani.
