Highlights and tour details
Departing from Bardonecchia, cross the Rho stream at the beginning of the Tre Croci road, then follow the almost flat path that reaches Les Arnauds and climbs towards the chapel of Notre Dame du Coignet (with 15th and 16th century frescoes both inside and out) from where you follow the ski slopes to reach Pian del Sole, then Punta Colomion. From here, follow the military road that continues as a path, descending to the Madonna della Sanità, San Lorenzo and San Giusto chapels, to then arrive at Rifugio Rey, where you can spend the night, and from where you quickly descend to the village of Chateau.
