Close to Case Carboneri, at the junction along the Trail of the Franks, you climb in the direction of La Bra - Pian Gelassa along a track that alternates sections on forest path and sections on mule track. From La Bra proceed eastwards along the dirt road that reaches Pian Gelassa in approximately thirty minutes. Here you take a mule track that goes downhill and transits at the alpine pasture of Fontanette to reach Case Trucco. Here you intersect the Trail of the Franks and the mule tracks that reach La Losa and the village of Gravere.
Access
Case Carboneri can be reached by car on the provincial road del frais followed by a good dirt road; case Trucco are situated close to the junction for Pian Gelassa along the provincial road for the Frais.
