Once you arrive at the village of Rossana, instead of continuing along stage 12, turn right into Via Mazzini to take the path that leads to Monte Pagliano, and then descend to Cascinotto and then a hairpin bend on the other side re-joins stage 12 just before entering the village of Costigliole Saluzzo.
