When we arrive in the upper part of the hamlet of Forte we take the cartroad to the Sanctuary of the Madonna degli Angeli. After a stretch among the vineyards the road bends to the right, climbing up the hill, and we can admire the panorama of the hilly strip between Masserano and Brusnengo and the plain. Once we reach the top we can have a rest at the picnic area next to the little church, before going along one of the most interesting panoramic stretches of the whole GTB, a succession of paths along the ridges of the watershed between Rio Bisingana and Riale di San Giorgio, up to Castelletto Villa. After descending towards the Ravasanella dam, we climb back up towards Asei, and then tackle the challenging steep path that leads to the Sanctuary of San Bernardo, another exceptional vantage point. We continue along the ridge as far as the provincial road that connects Sostegno to Curino, and from here we continue northwards. Once we reach the ridge near the Rubattini peak we continue along the ridge until we have crossed the Massucco del Turlo, then descend rapidly towards the valley of the Sessera stream, cross the waterway at Azoglio and end the stage at Crevacuore.
