Go along the ridge from Rifugio Comino that separates Valle Ellero from Valle Pesio and, passing by Monte Pigna you shortly reach the hamlet of Prea, which is worth a visit. With an easy path you finally reach Roccaforte, the main village at the beginning of Valle Ellero.

Attractions

The locality of Casino del Cars, the hill located really close to the refuge, is an important crossroads for Valle Ellero, Valle Pesio and towards the peaks. In fact, the path that goes to Cima Cars begins here.
