From the village of Castellino Tanaro you go down via a mule track, firstly a dirt road and then via an asphalt vicinal road towards Lesegno. After crossing the Tanaro river over a bridge in the hamlet of Piantorre, continue along an asphalt vicinal road to the village of Lesegno. Once past the village, you continue first on asphalt vicinal roads and then on dirt roads as far as Mombasigli.
