A variant that from the centre of Brondello at the crossroads with Stage 2, goes up towards Ruata Prai and Cascina Nadin. After the crest the itinerary passes through the village of Puncin in the municipality of Isasca, heads towards Pian del Colletto and then reconnects to the route of Stage 3 at the locality of Pilunas.

Motorway A6 TORINO - SAVONA, exit at the tollbooth of Marene; turn left on to the SS 662 in the direction of Savigliano, carry on to Saluzzo; Motorway A21 TORINO – ALESSANDRIA – PIACENZA, exit at Asti est – continue to Alba - Bra - exit at Marene - Savigliano - Saluzzo. In Saluzzo, via Pagno, SP 47 for Valle Bronda.
