The walk leads to the mysterious and wild basin of glacial origin, where the Lake Nero is located. In its first stretch the path flanks the Maresco di Bienca, a lake basin used in Roman times to conduct water to Eporedia through an aqueduct whose remains are still partly visible. The path continues through chestnut woods and vineyards to Lake Nero.
