From Forno Alpi Graie, in the little square at the end of the village, a wide dirt road starts on the right, after the bridge that crosses the Gura stream. Continue on the orographic right bank and enter the wood (path no. 315). After passing a steep rock face, the path takes a few hairpin bends to the left. You then continue north-west again on a moderate slope. When you reach a large, distinctive boulder, veer left on grassy slopes and follow a ridge that reaches a first group of huts. The path continues behind the buildings, passes an isolated and slightly uphill hut and reaches a long plateau. After crossing some brooks, the path approaches the Gura stream (on the left a secondary path connects to path no. 316). You cross the two tributaries of the stream on temporary footbridges and with a wide semicircle, in a north-westerly direction, you reach the Gias Milon (1993 m). Go past the constructions and head right (north) on a path that is made of stone slabs for a stretch below a rampart. When you reach an altitude of 2120 m, you go to the left and enter a long shelf where there are constructions of the Gias Gran Pian (2132 m). At the end of the shelf you turn to the right going up the steep grassy crag where Rifugio Daviso is located.

Scenic features: to south - south/west - Uja di Monbran, the Gura group from the peak of Monfret to that of Clavarino  ; to north-east - the Barrouard and Corno Bianco.
