The climb is long and demanding but mountain pastures, alpine lakes and the view of the Uja di Mondrone also called “Cervino delle Valli di Lanzo” for its slender shape, will ease the climb. Having reached 2485 m of Colle del Trione, walk through more meadows and mountain pastures to reach Chialambertetto and finally Balme, the “village of the Alpine Guides” and of the springs of Pian della Mussa, an extended grassy plain at 1700 m surrounded by breathtaking alpine peaks, which culminate with the 3604 m of Bessanese and with the 3637 m of Uja di Ciamarella.
