Having left Usseaux, named one of the "borghi più bella d'Italia" (Italy’s most beautiful villages), with its stone houses, ancient fountains and mill, we head towards Laux, where we will encounter a picturesque lake. The climb starts from here to reach Bergerie of Laux and Colle dell'Albergian (2713 m). Now, the descent begins into the wild Vallone di Massello, where we will be impressed by the magnificent Pis waterfall. We continue on to Balsiglia, a historic Waldensian place. The museum, built in 1939, goes back over the history of the Repatriation and Waldensian resistance on these mountains. The route ends in Massello.
