From the small square of Trinità, take the carriageway on the left that goes eastwards going up in Vallone Grande. After a short stretch ignore the fork to the left for Tetti Prer and follow the one on the right that becomes a path further on. You will reach a rocky gorge that barricades the centre of the valley along which the path, at times slippery, climbs quickly up the orographic left slope to the beech wood above where the wider route continues with hairpin bends. Once out of the woods you cross a wide stream and reach the panoramic pass to the east of the nearby Caire di Porcera at 1818 metres. After a steep stretch on the ridge that descends from Monte Pianard, the path goes around it and makes a long traverse. At an altitude of around 1950 metres, you encounter the last spring and after having passed some depresions you reach Colle della Garbella (2170 m). A beautiful panorama opens up towards the west and the high peaks of the Argentera massif, while in the opposite direction the view sweeps over the Bisalta and the peaks of the upper Val Vermenagna. You walk along the grassy ridge in a southerly direction and then along traces of a path towards Palanfré along the Val Garbella. Once you have reached the service dirt road to the mountain pastures of Gias Garbella and Chiot, follow it downhill until the end of the stage.
