From the square of the town hall of Crissolo, take the road uphill to the upper square, then take the SP road on the right that leads to Pian del Re. Once past the narrow road between the houses, ignore the indications for the main route of Orizzonte Monviso on the left to the village of Serre and the hamlet of Borgo and continue on the asphalt road which, with a lengthy hillside crossing, leads to a sharp bend to the left where there is a fork in the road. Leave the provincial road and follow the branch that continues straight ahead, and after a few hundred metres reaches the popular religious and cultural site of the Sanctuary of San Chiaffredo, a destination for thousands of tourists every year. The path leads to the right of the building, going around it to reach an open panoramic viewpoint. From this point onwards, the route goes across the hillside with a constant gradient along a beautiful mule track, among woody strips and more open areas, returning once  again to the village of Crissolo, reaching the hamlet of Borgo, from which you will go back onto the main Orizzonte Monviso route.

Motorway A6 TORINO - SAVONA, exit at the tollbooth of Marene; turn left on to the S.S. 662 in the direction of Savigliano, carry on to Saluzzo, then follow directions from Saluzzo towards Valle Po along S.P. 26 or S. P. 260; Motorway A21 TORINO – ALESSANDRIA – PIACENZA, exit at Asti est – continue to Alba - Bra - exit at Marene - Savigliano - Saluzzo - Valle Po (S.S. 662); From Paesana, SP 26 for Crissolo. From Torino, Tangenziale, exit at Pinerolo, proceed on SP 161 in the direction of Bibiana then SP 27 for Barge – Paesana via the stretch called “Colletta”; SP 26 in the direction of Crissolo.
