From Palazzina Sertorio, descend on a trail in the direction of Forno di Coazze. Having passed the remains of Prese Meinardo, cross the homonymous stream at the height of the aqueduct sluice. From there you reach the area called Pisi (abandoned ski facilities) passing by Presa d'Tista. Continue along the dirt road and, having passed the area of the Via Crucis della Grotta del Forno, going uphill you reach the area Colletto del Forno. From here, descend through Viretta and reach the hamlet of Maddalena, which is home to La Madlena Refuge.

Attractions

The Sanctuary Grotta di Nostra Signora di Lourdes is located in Forno di Coazze. There are also two memorial sites: a Partisan ossuary and a monument to remember a massacre in a mass grave.
