Attractions
Along the itinerary there is a succession of churches, oratories, votive chapels and frescoes that bear witness to how Faith was a strong support to the difficulties of the hard-daily life of the past. Points of interest: Old town centre and Ferrari Tower in Piedimulera, Press of Morlongo, Oratory of San Carlo and Chapel "Degli Scufui", old town centre and Church of Castiglione, Village of Colombetti, Village of Antrogna, Church "La cattedrale tra i boschi", Museum of the Militia of Calasca, Old town centre of Calasca Dentro, Old town centre and church of Bannio, Militia of Bannio. The most beautiful corner of Pontegrande is, without a doubt, the locality of "PIODA", where on an enormous erratic boulder transported by the glaciers, situated on a sheer drop to the Anza river, stands the church dedicated to Saints Pietro and Paolo, built in 1670, surrounded by houses that fit well into the environment. From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the east face of Monte Rosa.
