Highlights and tour details
From the Sigot bivouac climb to Passo Galambra (see Stage 5) from where you continue to the Cima del Vallonetto, where the former military observatory at the top has been converted into a a tiny bivouac (one bed). Descend along the slope in the Municipality of Oulx (Fontanone, Galleria del Pramand), to reach the Pramand barracks dating back to the 19th and 20th centuries. From here, climb towards Col Basset and descend into Valfredda, where there is a stopover point at the homonymous Grange.

By car: SS24 and 335 or A32 exit at Bardonecchia, follow directions for Rochemolles, once past the centre take the fork for Val Fredda (traffic restrictions)
