Highlights and tour details

Starting from the centre of the town of Corio, from Piazza Caduti per la Libertà, follow via Piano Audi for a short stretch to reach Regione Molino dell’Avvocato where, as soon as you have past the historic stone bridge, you take the trail that climbs along the bank of the Malone on the left hydrographic side. You meet several small villages before approaching the village of Piano Audi (867 m) where on trail 416 you continue climbing the solitary side of Monte Soglio. The trail follows the rural track towards the Alpe Soglia Refuge (1723 m). The refuge is a stopping point where as well as taking a simple rest it is possible to climb with little effort to the top of Monte Soglio. From here, on clearest days, you can enjoy an exceptional view of the Po Valley surrounded in all directions by the high peaks of the Piedmontese Alps, of the Aosta Valley and of Lombardy.
