From the town of Coazzolo, we walk along a highly scenic route that runs along most of the ridges of the surrounding hills and from where we can enjoy picturesque views of the Langhe territory. We cross numerous small urban agglomerations consisting of a few farms and, very often, votive chapels. The variant ends in one of these agglomerations, Castelletto, from where we can reconnect to stage 2 and then easily reach Castagnole.
