A relatively short stage crossing the Val di Viù. The first stretch as far as Margone is by road. Here you can choose between two alternative routes, the classic GTA route or the Decauville, that is, the remains of the narrow-gauge railway that connected Malciaussia to the lake behind the Tower, also used to transport the materials to build the Lago della Rossa dam. In this case, after passing through a tunnel where it is necessary to use a frontal light you cover a further short stretch downhill that is very steep but equipped with a rope and steps to reach the asphalt road near Rifugio Vulpot.
