From Trucco, descend to the right along the trail that leads to the vehicular road. Below the houses, to the left the route 558 descends steeply on Mompantero passing the ruins of the homes of Praletto (1618 m), Molinetto (1352 m) and Pian Berco (1249 m). The track descends on hairpin bends, crosses the road for the Truc at the bridge of fonte Pietrabruna and reaches the houses of Pietrabruna (1035 m) and the Castagneretto granges (930 m). Largely paved or cut on rocky blocks, the mule track reaches the Chapel of San Giuseppe di Mompantero (540 m). With one last section on road that crosses the Cenischia, you pass Case Pradonio and continue towards the centre of Susa.
