Highlights and tour details

The first section goes along a cart track parallel to the Ingagna torrent, which we cross to climb towards Gallo along a paved road; past Cascina Galliano we enter the forest walking along a lovely cart track to Gerbiglie, where we take a paved road to the left. The road climbs towards Cascina Candireno, which we go past to take a trail to the right, until a paved road which runs downhill among the fields. Having arrived on the main road for Muzzano, we go along it to the left to abandon it a little further on for a cart track to the right. We continue straight on until the old paved road for Occhieppo, which descends to a farmhouse where we turn left and immediately right, along a steep mule track which continues towards the Elvo plain. After having travelled the track which goes along a farmhouse on the left, we cross the river and turn right, continuing along the main road to Occhieppo Superiore. Once past the main road, a paved road climbs towards the green area of Castellazzo, which we go along before meeting the road for Pollone; we cross it and take a road first paved and then dirt which travels the ridge as far as the beautiful Church of San Grato and from there descend to Pollone.
