From the hamlet of Pradonio on the border with the municipality of Susa, the path goes up to Giaglione and crosses the main villages; it continues uphill to Pian delle Rovine and from here, along the ancient Maria Bona canal (there is a climbing site here) it reaches Val Clarea. In the locality of Grange Buttigliera the path crosses the Gloriouso Rimpatrio dei Valdesi (Repatriation of the Waldensians) and continues towards Cappella Bianca (panoramic viewpoint) and Ambournet, then descending to the hamlet of Cels, in the Municipality of Exilles.

There is a car park in the village of Pradonio and following the provincial road you come to the Sentiero Balcone after 100 metres or so.

Notes on public transport

From the railway station of Susa, go up along the SS25 del Moncenisio and take the fork to the left towards Giaglione, the Sentiero Balcone begins after 100 metres.
