From Rifugio Pocchiola Meneghello go up the uneven steps, pass in front of the disused cableway and a votive chapel. Continue on level ground and then with several ascents and descents to a scree that you must cross to reach a trail that cuts steep slopes (short chain in a landslide section) and climbs with a splendid view of the western part of Monte Destrera (2539 m, 45 minutes from Rifugio Pocchiola Meneghello). Go down to the left along trails on the opposite grassy slope until you reach a scree and continue downhill almost to the plain below, go to the left and go along a path until you reach a building under a large rock. Cross the stream and bending to the right, the track passes high on the Alpe Terrin with several ascents and descents and then uphill it makes a long traverse on steep slopes (be careful in case of snow) until it reaches the south-west ridge of the Punta Rossa at an altitude of 2370 m where there is a cairn. Descend firstly along the ridge and then left along trails to Alpe Praghetta Superiore (2140 m) where you meet the AVCGTA route that climbs from San Giacomo and continues towards Lake Eugio (3 hours from the dam to Alpe Praghetta). Go down the steps to the right and take the path that with a long stretch along the hillside climbs the west side of Cima Testona until you reach the Eugio - Ribordone watershed a few metres from Cima Arzola 2158 m. Go down to Pian Chermisù at 973 m (at 100 m there is a small chapel, an imposing statue of Christ the Redeemer and the Blessent bivouac, an emergency shelter that is always open). Without reaching the bivouac bend left down to Alpe Arzola (1793 m) and then to the village of Posio (1390 m). Follow the low-traffic asphalt road to Talosio (Ribordone) (GTA stop-off point redeveloped by the mountain community on the PSR) (3.30 hrs from the Lake Eugio dam).
