Take the path (Percorsi Occitani and GTA) to the left of the parish church, which goes up along the hillside through a valley until you reach a panoramic ridge with a votive shrine and a wooden cross. A last uphill stretch in the woods leads to Castellaro (1449 m).

At a fountain at the end of the village, follow the S22 path again, which climbs progressively within a former cultivated area, now full of vegetation, until meeting the pastoral road that comes from the same village, taking a longer tour. Follow the path to the right as far as the 1740 metres of the Fumei grange where it ends. You then continue on the marked path that climbs up to nearby Monte Bastia (2134 m), then descends briefly to climb up towards the Bric delle Mendie. Before reaching it, the path bends to the right to encircle the peaks of Bric and the subsequent Rocca Cernauda. You continue along the hillside at approximately 2200 m altitude with slight ascents and descents among extensive grazing meadows up to Bassa di Narbona with the buildings of Grange Serra (2220 m). From here you proceed almost on level ground along the east side of Monte Tibert. Cross a very sunken watershed that is subject to avalanches and then continue along the hillside on a steep slope with some difficult passages due to landslides along the slope. Finally you reach Passo delle Crosette (2180 m) located on the ridge between Valle Grana and the Narbona valley, from which you start to descend along the R13 path marked by stakes in the pastures which, after a first traverse to the right, starts to descend decisively in hairpin bends towards a first gias (area or small barn for cattle) below. From here you continue downhill along a watershed until you meet the dirt track that leads to Gias Sibolet which you follow to the right. You descend to the crossroads with the R06 route dirt track towards Colle Sibolet which is to the right, continuing as far as the crossroads with the road below for Colle d'Esischie and Col Fauniera, now near the Sanctuary of San Magno that ends the stage.
